PDF tools for small law firms

Client papers
never leave the machine.

Merge a bundle, split a disclosure pack, number exhibits, stamp WITHOUT PREJUDICE, turn a judgment into Word. Sixteen tools that run inside the browser tab — no client document is ever uploaded to a server.

Nothing to add to your processor list

Because files never leave the browser, there is no third-party processor for these conversions, and no retention period to check. The client’s papers go from their download folder back to yours.

One price for the firm

£1 a week covers everyone — each person signs in with their own email. No seats, no minimum term, no annual invoice to argue about at partner level.

Clear about the limits

Scans have no text layer, so text conversions refuse rather than return an empty file. Complex Word layouts are simplified. A tool that stops is cheaper than one that quietly mangles a bundle.

Questions firms ask

Do client files really stay on our machines?

Yes. The PDF is read from disk by your browser and converted in the tab. You can prove it: load a tool, then disconnect from the network before converting — it still works. No request carries the file.

Is there a per-user licence?

No. One subscription covers the firm at £1 a week; everyone signs in with their own email address. For comparison, a single Acrobat Pro seat is roughly £23 a month.

What does the service record about our documents?

Nothing about the documents themselves. The account record holds an email address, whether the plan is active, and a daily count of tasks started. File names, page counts and contents are never sent, so they cannot be recorded.

Does it handle scanned documents?

Merging, splitting, rotating, compressing and watermarking work on scans. Converting a scan to Word or text does not — there is no text layer to read, and the tool says so instead of returning an empty document.

Who pays, and can we stop?

Whoever sets up the account pays £1 a week by card. Cancelling any time stops the next payment; access continues to the end of the week already paid for. The first week is free.
